The Camping Group of Westminster Church of the Brethren gathered for the weekend of July 17-19, 2009, at Friendship Village, Bedford, PA. Their activities included eating together, visiting around the campfire, and sightseeing-the Bedford Springs Hotel and beautiful scenes of valleys from mountain roads. Some campers walked around the lake and grounds. Others enjoyed reading, napping, swimming and playing miniature golf.

On Sunday morning, they gathered for a worship service outdoors around the campfire. Later, for lunch, they roasted hot dogs and shared food. Some members had arrived earlier in the week and left on Saturday to attend a special event. Others stayed until Monday before leaving the campground.

The weekend was arranged and hosted by Sandy and Ed Tenney.
