XYZ March News

As the program part of our Tuesday, March 16, XYZ fellowship luncheon event, Gary Moore has agreed to meet with us as the new Chair of the congregational Leadership Team. We have asked him to share his thoughts about the process of spiritual discernment and preparation for new pastoral leadership that we are involved in. Some of the questions we have suggested to Gary that he speak to are:

 What new things have you learned, if any, about the Westminster COB since you have become chair of the Leadership Team?

Could you summarize for us the strengths of our congregation according to the members who took part in the January 31 sharing session?

What progress do you see, so far, in the process of discerning what God is calling us as a congregation to be and do from here on out?

What more needs to happen, in your opinion, in order to be ready for new pastoral leadership?

In addition to Gary’s sharing his thoughts, there will also be time for our questions and other input from the group.

But, first, we will meet at 12:30 PM in the fellowship hall for a gourmet soup and sandwich buffet prepared by members of our XYZ Planning Team. Voluntary contributions toward food costs will be accepted. It will be helpful if you will call the church office by Friday, March 12, to let us know you are coming. There is no age limit – all are welcome!
