OLDER ADULT MINISTRIES Our church has established 3 goals to support the church’s mission statement. To assess and develop a support ministry for “homebound” and elderly church members. Expand congregational participation in Christian activities that reach out to serve our neighbors. Practice hospitality as a personal central Christian responsibility.
OAM was developed to meet these goals with a special emphasis on the older adult. This group's main focus is on serving others, helping those in need, any age. The Older Adult Ministry meets 4-5 times a year. If you would like to be on the team please e-mail us
A process was established to identify those in our congregation who need help or support. The team has a list of volunteers ready and willing to help those in need. This was accomplished through the information from the completed surveys.
If you are an older adult and you need some assistance with transportation, jobs around the house, letter writing, etc., please contact the church office. The OAM team has a list of volunteers waiting to help you. If you call the church office,, the coordinators for this assistance program will be contacted and they will then contact you regarding your request.
