Children Welcome! 

Children are very important to us at the Westminster COB and  a vital part of our congregation..  We provide a variety of opportunities for kids. Here’s what we offer:  There is a children’s choir and handbells choir. Weekly Sunday School where children sing, hear stories, learn lessons from the Bible and make crafts.

During the first worship service, the children are invited to go to children’s worship. During the second service the children stay in worship and they can pickup an activity bag with a small snack and some quiet activities to do during the service.

We have a Children’s Ministry Team that organizes the following:

• Christmas Party

• Vacation Bible School

• Easter Celebration

• Parenting helps  

We also have a wonderful children’s library. The kids can sign out books to take home to read or be read to for a week or more.

Every year a few parents plan our Christmas Eve service. Unlike the candlelight service we have a Sunday or two before Christmas, this service is planned for the children’s participation. Some children play instruments, read scripture, and help with dramas. But at the closing of the service, every child is invited to play the part of an angel or a shepherd, or a wiseman as they come forward to create a beautiful nativity for all of us to enjoy.
