GUIDELINES FOR RETURNING TO IN-PERSON WORSHIP
On Sunday, June 20, 2021, in-church worship will resume. In addition, Sunday School classes may also begin to meet in-person beginning on June 29, though each class will decide how best to move forward. This date was chosen to provide audio/visulal technicians adequate time to transition to a hybrid worship service, both in-church and streamed via Zoom. This decision also takes into account Pastor Glenn's scheduled vacation from June 1-15 and planning needs for services and Sunday School.
Pews on the choir loft side of the sanctuary will be reserved for those who want to maintain social distancing. This is to accommodate people who wish to maintain social distancing as an added precaution while allowing others more freedom in where they sit. To maintain social distancing, there will be an orderly dismissal at the end of each service.
Masks are not required but are highly recommended. This is to protect our children and people with compromised immunity. We encourage everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
The Worship Ministry Team will look for alternatives to congregational singing, for the time being, due to the higher risks of disease transmission through singing.
Greeting time during worship as well as Morning Mingle are suspended until further notice. We encourage people to avoid handshaking and hugging. In addition, we ask that socializing be done outside the church building to maintain the greatest safety.
Please note that during the week, masks are still required to enter the church building, and appointments are needed to enter the building.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times and respectful behavior toward all who enter our church.
